Tom Wright's photographs of rock performers, audiences, and concert venues comprise an intimate, behind-the-scenes history of rock and roll from the 1960s to the 1990s in the United States and Great Britain. Material related to British rock group The Who is the major focus of the collection. Also included are videos and CDs of The Who and a tape of Pete Townshend describing Tommy before its first U.S. performance.
